Transfers

Hello everyone!

So guess what! I'm being transferred!!! I'm going to be in Citrus Heights. So the complete opposite side of the mission. Crazy. I'm going to be in another trio.(so my 3rd if you count the week that we were with Sister Seely) So this should be interesting. More than half the mission moved because we have a lot of missionaries coming in next transfer and the mission President needed to have people in places to train. So this week I have been saying goodbye to a lot of people.

Also the family that we have been working with came to church on Sunday! (I asked them to be there since it was my last Sunday, and they love me so they came.) They are so awesome and I am going to miss them so much. Sister Saxey will take good care of them though.

Umm I'm not sure what else to say.... It's been really hot lately. 103 today.

Anyways have a good week! Love you all and miss you.

An.... interesting.... week

Hello everyone,

This week we had zone meeting it was pretty great. We talked a lot about the spirit and inviting people to be baptized.

Also this week I got peed on, by a little girl. We were teaching a lesson and she came over and sat on my lap and wanted to watch a show so I turned on a bible video for her. When it was over she got up and my lap was all wet! Oh man it was so gross, but I couldn't make a scene because we weren't done with our lesson yet so I had to just sit there. After I went home and showered. It was awful.

Also this week we were doing service for a member who has an orchard so we got to ride four wheelers! That was fun! We are going back to help him some more soon.

We have started meeting with a less active family, the wife got really offended years ago and haven't been back since but they want us to come over twice a week and do scripture studys with them so hopefully we will be able to help get them back to church. Their son goes to church still and just graduated high school. He plans on going on a mission soon so hopefully he can help too.
Anyways that's about it. Love you all! Have a good week!!

Hello!

Hello everyone,

This week we had stake conference. Elder Acosta of the 70 came. It was really neat. All the missionaries (including us sisters) were invited by the stake president to the priesthood leadership meeting on Saturday night. Everyone looked at us funny because it's not normal to have sisters there but that's ok. It was a really good meeting.

We have had lots of referrals this week as well, which is super nice. One is a woman who just moved here from Corning. She is super nice, and has two kids. We have also started teaching her boyfriend.

Also this week was zone conference which was super good as well. We were combined with the Redding zone, so I got to see some of my friends that I haven't seen in a while. The conference was a lot about the Holy Ghost and receiving revelation.

That's about all the highlights of the week, so I love you all and miss you. Hope you have a good week!

Another Crazy Week

Hello everyone,
So this week we welcomed a new missionary to our zone, her name is Sister Hood. We said bye to Sister Seely and moved back up to Red Bluff.

We also found a new investigator this week. We were asked by the bishop to stop by and see a less active that had not been to church in a few months, turns out they had moved. The new family living there said that they have been looking for a new church since they just moved in. They said they will be at church on Sunday.

Looks like for the next zone blitz we might be killing and skinning chickens, so that's cool! Haha.

For p-day we went to rare air, a trampoline place. It was super fun!
Anyways love you all!
